In this drill you’ll ride the outside edge of your left foot around the cone, then transfer from the left outside edge to the right foot outside edge. After this you move from the outside edge of the right foot to the inside edge of the right foot. Finally finishing by transferring back to the left foot inside edge
Why do we do this? This allows us in one drill to hit every edge on our skates. We must have complete comfort on all edges to become a high end skater and hockey player.
